Ude-garame
(figure four or entangled armlock)
"This technique can be applied from
numerous positions, this is just one of them.
Uke is on his back. Aproach Uke from his right side and with
your left leg stretched, lean accross Uke's chest and place
your right knee on his hip, exerting preasure to prevent him
from moving.With your left hand grip Uke's left wrist, which
should lie with palm facing away from you .
Take your right hand and slip it underneath Uke's elbow, to
grip your own left wrist. Submission is achieved by curling
your left hand into the mat,causeing Uke's palm to be facing
the mat;
now raise your right wrist and elbow slightly from the mat."
