"Uke is on his back.
Tori is astride Uke, facing him. Tori lifts his left leg and plants his foot on the mat, against Uke's right flank. Tori presses his right knee into Uke's liver sharply, leaving his right toe flexed and resting on his toes. At the same time Tori's right hand with palm downwards seizes Uke's left lapel, (fingers above, thumb outside) at the level of the collar-bone and pulls it down in front of Uke's neck. Tori's left hand (thumb inside, fingers outside) take hold of Uke's right lapel at the level of the pectoral muscle. His left arm exersises a vigerous traction while his right arm taut, presses with his entire body, the fist closed wedge wise on Uke's windpipe, but lightly on the right side of the neck in order to maintain contact."
