Sode tsuri komi goshi
Toshihiko koga
(sleeve lifting pulling hip throw)
Againast a leading left hand koga takes an underside sleeve
grip with his right hand and takes a massive step through
with his right leg
now he starts to drive his hand downwards
and underneath his body. His left arm starts to scoop backwards
increasing his momentum into the turn.
To turn his opponent onto his back Koga fully commits
his weight into the throw, whipping his right arm across his
body and throwing his left arm back against his opponents
legs. even though his opponent gets his free hand to the mat
the momentum of the turn is sufficient to take him over.
He keeps driving his shoulder down, launching off his toes
to put his opponent onto his back.
Koga has spun through a full 360 degrees during the course
of the technique.
