tying your belt

"The judo belt is a sign of rank and should be worn correctly.
It should be one continuous band round your waist tied at the front with a square or reef knot.
Find the middle of the belt, with the ends facing you wrap the belt around your waist, bringing the ends to the front
Take one end and take it behind both bars of your belt on the your front.
Now with both ends of the belt in your hands, take the lower length over the top length and pull through. This is a square or reef knot.
Make sure that the belt, as it goes around your waist, is in one band and not twisted.
Take pride in your appearance"
